We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; submittal and management of insurance claims, reviewing managed care contracts, obtaining state collection guidelines (if applicable), utilization of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and consistent communication (internal/external) via email, phone, and Microsoft Teams. Ideal for individuals who have worked within a billing environment and/or recent graduates with a degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related fields (completion of a medical billing program/certification is also applicable).

1. Minimum of four years hospital managed care/commercial collector experience preferred
2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
3. Knowledge of contract interpretation
4. Familiar with hospital billing requirements
