The Boeing Company is looking for a **System & Network Administrator Engineer** to join our Space Systems Verification and Test team in **El Segundo, CA** . In this position, you'll contribute to a team responsible for the hardening, deployment, automation, setup, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments. The Infrastructure and System Administrator Functions supports a 24/7 hour Test operation. This position is 4th shift meaning, various shifts, nights, weekends, and alternate shifts may be required to support program objectives. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level System & Network Administrator Engineers. **Position Responsibilities:** + Provides Factory Floor support to multiple Programs; defining & documenting Test setups, Deploying Test Software & Configurations, Troubleshooting, communicating/coordinating program requests, and supporting requests from the team to improve effectiveness, efficiency, productivity + Develops, implements, and sustains tools that enable product security requirements + Utilizes agile methodologies to plan, execute, and track product security statement of work + Develops and enhances system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements + Configures and ensures security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support + work with the Infrastructure Manager to help transform the existing Test IT infrastructure and Tools, implementing the best practices to manage server room + Leverages technical knowledge of infrastructure to manage, maintain, improve, deploy and harden complex Test infrastructure **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science + Current CompTIA Security+ certification + Experience managing data center and large IT systems + Experience in Operating Systems: Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux + Experience in VMWare Virtualization + Experience in Enterprise Storage **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + **Level 3** : 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience + ITIL 4 certification + Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification + Experience in Cyber Security + Experience in Oracle Solaris + Experience in Cisco switches, ASA and Palo Alto Firewall **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Pay & Benefits:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
